Team 4611 continues to test, modify, and retest our prototypes, as well as design new ones. One of our goals for this week is to design and test gear collecting and placing mechanisms. At our first meeting we decided that we wanted to be able to transport gears to the airship, and we are beginning to take the necessary steps in order to accomplish that.
Currently there are ball shooting and collecting prototypes that are being tested and modified. One ball collecting prototype is designed like a windmill and pulls the wiffle balls up and into what would be the robot if it were attached. The electrical team finished hooking up the motors to the sled on a shooter prototype.
Multiple gear collecting prototypes are being made by members of multiple teams. They are being tested with the loading station that the fabrication team built. The fabrication team has moved on to building other parts of the field and members are currently working on building the hopper.
The pneumatics team continues to work with electrical and fabrication team members to complete the test board. Today they modified certain connections and wires as well as worked on a way to mount a battery onto the board.
The drive team is making a better, aesthetically appealing, station/board to bring to competition to represent Ozone while prototypes are being built.
Coding team members are working on debugging and pushing code to a ball collecting robot.
